Parkpay provides car park monitoring and management services to assist property owners and managers in ensuring the best use of their parking area, in particular the provision of sufficient spaces and their use by the legitimate user.
Parking in private property is provided for the legitimate user conducting business in the property. This can include shoppers visiting a shopping centre or customers and clients visiting an office. The availability of adequate parking spaces can often be limited by commuters and other people who are not doing business in a property using the private parking facilities.
As part of the management of the car park the property owner may introduce conditions of parking whereby a free parking period is made available before the imposition of a parking fee, or alternatively the imposition of a parking fee from the commencement of parking.
The method of management and monitoring of the car park may also vary and include the use of Pay 'n Display machines within the car park or the use of monitoring technology to record the length of stay in the car park.
